LAND SALES

The Lake of the Woods County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office administers the disposition of Tax-forfeited lands.

These are properties that default to the State of Minnesota due to non-payment of taxes. Periodic public auctions will be held to return these parcels to public ownership. Any parcels remaining unsold after public auction can be purchased for the minimum bid established by the County Board of Commissioners.
