CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)Â helps families pay for child care so parents can work, look for a job, or attend school. The program is available for children younger than 13 and for children with special needs who are younger than 15.
When families apply, their gross income must be below a maximum income entry level to qualify for the program. Each activity also must be approved before child care benefits can be authorized. Parents must comply with child support enforcement for all children in the family. They also pay part of the child care cost, a bi-weekly co-pay, based on income and the size of the family.
Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) Applications are available online at MNbenefits or can be picked up in person during regular business hours. Call 218-634-2642 to request an application be mailed to you.Â
