SOLID WASTE
The County Solid Waste Department is responsible for the Solid Waste program in Lake of the Woods County. The Department oversees the Solid Waste Plan, operates the Graceton Solid Waste Facility and the Northwest Angle Transfer Station.
The Recycling Trailer, which is located on the City of Baudette Utilities Property, is for Aluminum Cans, Tin Cans, and Glass ONLY. All items must be placed in the trailer. If trailer is gone, it is being emptied. Please do not leave items on the ground when the trailer is gone or if the trailer is full.
The Yard Waste Trailer, which is located on the City of Baudette Utilities Property, is for Grass Clippings, Leaves, and Tree Branches ONLY. All items must be placed in the trailer. If trailer is gone, it is being emptied. Please do not leave items on the ground when the trailer is gone or if the trailer is full.
Unlawful dumping will be enforced.
The Lake of the Woods County Solid Waste Transfer Station is open:
Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Closed on all legal holidays
